PTA Honorary Service Awards - Nominations Open!
Honorary Service Awards are awarded each year and designed as a unique way for PTA to publicly acknowledge both individuals and organizations for outstanding community service to children and youth in a community. Recipients receive a certificate, a HSA pin, and a donation in their honor made to the California State PTA scholarship and grant programs. Recipients are publicly recognized and are invited to the Harbor Council PTA luncheon in May.
What is reflections?
TeWinkle PTA is proud to participate in the PTA’s National Reflections Art Program. This national art program has brought the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969 and TeWinkle students are invited to be a part of this program each year.
Artworks are submitted first to TeWinkle PTA, where they are first recognized, celebrated and judged. TeWinkle PTA judges will then choose a selection of entries to be judged by council PTA and then Fourth district for consideration. The final artworks submitted to California State PTA by districts are then considered for Awards of Excellence or Awards of Merit. Award of Excellence entries then go on to represent California in the final National PTA judging round.
