PRESS RELEASE SPRING CLEAN-UP is a GREAT SUCCESS at TEWINKLE!Thanks so much to all the students, parents, and other volunteers who helped make our campus look great. They planted over 200 trees, shrubs, and flowers. We had over 50 volunteers and our back courtyard looks beautiful! Everyone got up super early on Saturday morning and arrived at 6:30 am to unload a truck load of plants. We got to digging, planting, and even axing some old roots. Thank you again to all our parent and student volunteers! See below for pictures of the event.

Congratulations to Ms. Motamed. 2012-2013 Secondary Teacher of the Year!
School Safety LetterDear Parents and Guardians,
Our school staff is very concerned about student safety. Monthly drills are held to teach students the proper method of responding to various emergencies. Fire drills, earthquake drills, and lockdowns are practiced throughout the year. In an unlikely event of a disaster, it is important for the school to have specific emergency information about your child. You will be required at the beginning of each school year to complete an emergency release form. Please keep this information updated.
In the event of an emergency, the following policy will apply:
If an emergency should occur when schools are not in session, you can learn whether or not schools will be closed by listening to local radio stations or local news broadcasts. All other means possible will be used to communicate emergency information as the situation allows (schools and district website www.nmusd.usSchool Messenger phone notifications, AlertOC/AlertCM, etc). The District also utilizes Facebook https://www.facebook.com/nmusd1and Twitter https://twitter.com/nmusd Estimados padres y tutores legales,
