What is EasyTech? EasyTech is a web-delivered K-8 technology literacy curriculum that integrates technology while addressing core content standards. EasyTech helps students learn computer technology skills through 120 interactive lessons, teacher-led discussions, core curriculum-based activities, and online practices. Ms. Kristi Jacobs is TeWinkle's Teacher of the Year. She will be honored along with the Newport Mesa Schools Foundation grant recipients on Thursday, February 4th.
Ms. Jacobs has been a member of the TeWinkle community since 2007 and serves as a Resource Specialist. Ms. Jacobs is currently completing a Masters of Science degree in Special Education from Cal State Fullerton. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Hope International University.
Kristi collaborates with her colleagues to help develop and implement a strong Response to Intervention plan for TeWinkle students. She believes in being a significant force that changes a child's potential and ignites the possibilities that a love of learning can bring. This year, Ms. Jacobs has integrated the iPod Touch to her curriculum as a web-based intervention.
